Course “Magnetic resonance imaging 1”

  • Requirements:
    • Math: 1st & 2nd order differential equations, basic linear algebra (vectors, matrices, inverse matrices, cross product, …), basic understanding of the Fourier transform
    • Physics: B- and E-fields, induction, Lorentz force, electromagnetic waves, magnetization
  • Physics elective (study focus “Physics in life sciences“) & Master Medical Engineering

    • Fundamental principles of magnetic resonance
    • Bloch equations
    • Contrast creation
    • Image encoding
