The results show that the combination of the coils slightly reduced the 23Na transmit efficiency and the signal-to-noise ratio, while the 1H transmit efficiency was hardly affected. This method had no significant impact on image quality, while individual 1H-pTx pulses significantly improved the B1+ homogeneity of 1H in the myocardium.
