New Paper: Time-Efficient Interleaved Spin Density-Weighted and Inversion Recovery 23Na MRI of the Human Calf Muscle at 7 T

Congratulations to Tobias Wilferth, Fiona Meyer and their co-authors on the recently published article “Time-Efficient Interleaved Spin Density-Weighted and Inversion Recovery 23Na MRI of the Human Calf Muscle at 7 T”!

The study presents a time-efficient interleaved ^23Na MRI sequence that enables the acquisition of both spin density-weighted and inversion recovery contrasts within a single measurement. At 7 T, the method achieved image quality and muscle signal comparable to standard sequences while reducing scan time and avoiding the need for co-registration.
