Congratulations to Dr. rer. nat. Nico Egger and co-authors on the recently published article ‘Evaluation of an interleaved acquisition scheme for improved robustness of channel-wise relative B1+ mapping at 7T’!

This study evaluates whether an interleaved acquisition scheme at 7 T, in contrast to a sequential acquisition, improves the accuracy of a fast relative B₁⁺ mapping method. Simulations and validation measurements demonstrate that the interleaved approach yields lower flip-angle errors and higher signal linearity compared to the conventional sequential scheme. Consequently, the linear flip-angle range is extended, enhancing the overall robustness of the method.
